Ingredients
- 1 C white sugar
- 1 C brown sugar
- 1 C Shortening
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 C flour
- 3 C oatmeal
- 1/2 C chopped nuts (oatmeal)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
Preparation
(*I usually split ½ butter and ½ buttered Crisco.) Combine above ingredients. Place 1/3 dough on wax paper and roll lengthwise and wrap. Repeat with remaining dough. Freeze overnight. Cut into 1/3” sections and bake at 350 for 12 minutes. Can be frozen for several weeks.
