Ingredients
2 pcs of boneless chicken breast
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 bunches scallions
Head of broccoli
1 Red pepper
1 Green Pepper
1 Red onion
vegetable oil for cooking
2 tbsps sesame oil (plain or hot per your preference)
Preparation
Prepare the marinade
Mix: 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/4 water and 2 bunches scallions
Chicken and Broccoli
Julienne chicken breast into 1/4 in width pieces and marinate.
Break the fresh broccoli into florets and steam lightly for 30-40 seconds)
Julienne the peppers and set aside.
Heat a cast iron skillet, add vegetable oil and saute the chicken until almost done.
Add vegetables and let cook for another 15 minutes on a slow fire.
When finished add two tablespoons of sesame oil and stir in.
For a spicy version, add hot sesame oil and stir in as you would the plain sesame oil,.
Thicken the gravy made with a cornstarch mixture or a flour rue, whichever you prefer.
