Beach Plums (about 1 gallon ½ greenish ⅓ purple

4 cups sugar


Pick Beach Plums.

Cover in large pot and bake 20 minutes – Skim

Drain through cheesecloth and refrigerate.

4 cups juice – boil 20 minutes and skim

Take of heat – add 4 cup sugar

Cook and skim 5 minutes

Put in sterilized glass

Set in sunny window for 24 hours
