Shade Tree Commission

About Us

The Princeton Shade Tree Commission cares for, inventories, and oversees the planting of trees in Princeton's municipal right-of-ways, parks, and public places. It also authors and prepares Princeton's tree ordinances and assists the arborist in mediating complaints between individuals, neighborhoods, and other groups. The commission also reviews and comments on tree removal and planting of replacement trees as detailed on site plans for the Planning and Zoning Boards.
