About Us

The purpose of the Public Transit Advisory Committee is to work cooperatively with Princeton University, the Greater Mercer Transportation Management Association and other transit development resources to study and make recommendations for improvements to transit services in Princeton. The committee consists of five volunteer Princeton residents appointed by the Council and can include two alternate members; the Chair is appointed by the Mayor. Non-voting liaisons to PTAC include a Council member, staff, and representatives from Princeton University and the Greater Mercer Transportation Management Association.
